REDEDICATION: The newly restored church was rededicated by Archbishop Roger Herft on Sunday March 27, 2011.

There were two celebrations over the weekend. Archbishop Roger attended the Children and Family service on Saturday 26 March, and led a congregation of over 100 people as we shared the Eucharist together.

Sunday morning saw a similar number gather at the 9am service to celebrate the end of the restoration, and the start of the next phase of our journey as God's people at St Mary's.

Both services had as their emphasis the thruth that it is the people who are the church, and as the building was rededicated to be the centre of community, and a place for people to gather to worhsip God, so the congregations were given the opportunity to rededicate themselves in God's service and love.
